1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how BOOZE DELIVERY d.o.o. ("we", "us", "our", or "Booze") uses cookies and similar technologies. It covers two distinct environments, which are addressed separately below:
- Part A — the Booze mobile application (the "App"), which is the primary service;
- Part B — the Booze website (booze.hr), which is an informational/marketing site.
The App and the website are technically independent and use different technologies. Please read the part relevant to you. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, web beacons, pixels, and SDK identifiers. For simplicity, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.
Part A — Booze Mobile App
This part applies to the Booze mobile application on iOS and Android.
The Booze App does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. It contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no remarketing or profiling tools.
The App uses Sentry solely for crash and performance diagnostics. This is not tracking: Sentry receives no personal data, no advertising identifiers, and no behavioural data, and we do not link App activity with any third-party advertising or data broker. See the Privacy Policy for details.
A.1 Strictly Necessary (Always Active)
These cannot be disabled because the App cannot function without them:
- Authentication tokens — used to keep you signed in to your account between sessions;
- Session identifiers — used to maintain the integrity of your active session and your shopping cart;
- Push notification tokens — issued by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) when you grant notification permission, used to deliver order status updates;
- App preferences — stored locally on your device (language, notification settings).
A.2 Functional
- Saved delivery addresses and order history — stored on our servers so you can re-order conveniently.
A.3 Optional Device Permissions
These are not cookies but device permissions you can grant or revoke through your device settings:
- Location (GPS) — used only when you enable it, to detect your delivery address. You may also enter the address manually;
- Push notifications — used only after you grant permission, to send order status updates.
A.4 Managing App Storage and Permissions
You can manage permissions and clear stored data through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Booze → toggle Location, Notifications, etc.
- Android: Settings → Apps → Booze → Permissions / Storage.
Note that disabling certain permissions or clearing app data may sign you out and require you to log in again.
Part B — Booze Website (booze.hr)
This part applies only to the booze.hr website and is entirely separate from the App described in Part A.
B.1 Consent-Based Approach
No analytics cookies are set on the website unless you explicitly accept them via our cookie banner. If you do not consent, or you choose "Reject", no analytics cookies are placed and no analytics data is collected.
When you first visit the website, a cookie banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. The analytics script is loaded only after you select "Accept". You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.
B.2 Strictly Necessary Cookies
The website is a static informational site with no login. It sets no strictly necessary cookies. Your consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage (key: booze_cookie_consent) solely to remember your preference — this is not transmitted to us or any third party.
B.3 Analytics Cookies (Only With Consent)
If — and only if — you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website usage (e.g., number of visitors, popular pages, referral sources). This helps us improve the site.

We do not use advertising, remarketing, or social-media tracking cookies on the website. We self-host our web fonts (Inter), so no font CDN sets cookies on your browser.
B.4 Withdrawing or Changing Consent
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time:
- Click "Cookie settings" in the website footer to reopen the banner and change your choice;
- Delete cookies through your browser settings — see the browser guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Withdrawing consent stops further data collection but does not retroactively delete data already collected by Google; for that, contact us using the details below.
3. Third-Party Services (Payments)
When you make a payment in the App, payment data is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. Stripe uses technologies necessary for payment processing and fraud prevention; these are required to complete a transaction. See Stripe's Privacy Policy and Stripe's Cookie Policy. The booze.hr website itself does not process payments and does not load Stripe.
4. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
Because the website loads analytics only after explicit opt-in consent, your privacy is protected by default regardless of any browser "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal. If you do not accept the banner, no tracking occurs.
5. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use, applicable law, or our practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If material changes are made (for example, introducing new analytics or advertising cookies), we will re-request consent where required and increment the consent version so returning visitors are asked again.
